Recently I discovered Chris Oatleys artcast via Youtube. It´s quite interesting and also motivating to listen to it while drawing/painting,and it really helps me to stay focused somehow.
If you´re an artist, maybe you should take a peek as well.
Anyway,in the recent days I somehow found some of the things that obstruct my artistic growth as well as building up a life of some sorts.I think it´s gonna be easier from now, just because I know better what it actually is I struggle with and also how much I already was doing to deal with it all the time.
I´ve gained some new esteem, you could say.
Much of this, again, came through that ArtCast, especially the main part which is how to set goals for myself.I´ve been (finally) aware of the importance of having goals for quite a while now,an insight that,as clear and intuitive it may be to most, came slowly to me;I´ve but never really found anything I really could refer to as a "goal" instead of a mere wish or rather a dream, despite having become more aware of the concept of small steps over the course of the last year.
Sometimes being told a hundred times doesn´t help as much as someone putting it in the right words once.
I think I´ll be able to stay more focused from now,as well as being less of a whiny fuck.

Thanks a lot to all of you gratulated me on my birthday.
Kinda means something to me, especially as I'm socially quite isolated these days. Thanks.
Again and Again.
Once again, it's been a while since I wrote my last journal, once again my heart's been broken.
Once again, I shall not give up, once again, I've got a lot in the works which I'm too unsatisfied with to post.
Yet once again, I'm getting there.
Once again, stay tuned! ^^
Oh, and in other news: I have a fosterpug now. His name's Merlin. He cool
Hmm, actually...
Well, currently I don't really get lotsa work done and what I do make, it tends to take quite a while. You could say I'm kinda distracted, as I'm in a fresh, new relationship since early August, which also means that I'm not at home lots of the time and therefor don't have my computer to paint.
That said, if I'm drawing, naturally I'm doing more traditional art these days, currently it's quite a bit of ink (duh), but some little dabblings in color may follow. I even dug up my SuperSculpey to make a maquette for something I'm working on.
However, those endeavors, I can't properly scan them, all I have is my phone to make photos (ok in case of

Goddammit.
Time goes so fast all the time, and additionally I'm short of it.
As things have moved, I've temporarily done the same and therefore had little to no alone time to spare, just as little as opportunities to use a computer.
All's well, though.
I think.
